Details:

Variety:

Pinot Noir 100%
A balanced combination of traditional Burgundy clones with thin skins and modern clones with harder skins and higher tannin content.

Vinohrad:

Terrace area, Blue Mountains – Bořetice, 250 m above sea level, planted in 2008-2009. The soil consists of sandy clay overlying mostly limestone.

Production:

The grapes were fermented in open vats for approximately 20 days and then gently pressed. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels made by François Frères and then in bottle. It is unfiltered and unfined.

TASTING NOTES:

The wine is elegant, delicate and beautifully fruity. The colour is light brick with ruby highlights. The aroma is dominated by cherry and stone fruit. The palate is refined, elegant and balanced, simply traditional Pinot Noir. The finish is medium-bodied, fruity with lower ripe tannins and a long aftertaste. The wine needs time to open up and show its quality. It is worth tasting the following days after opening as well.

This is a great wine with great potential that will excite any Pinot Noir lover!
